Been a while since I dabbled in the written word with my own signature flair of crazy. It's nice to see those page views continue to climb and I'm arting and drawering a whole bunch. A lot of things under NDA so I always wonder if it makes me look like a slacker to onlookers :D
Stream has pretty much been discontinued as it seems kind of a waste to paint in a room by your lonesome when you can paint with others in Google hangouts (which are pretty awesome, with no ads, woo!). Perhaps a more worthwhile endeavour once the world at large has actually heard of you :)
Still taking on commissions though there is actually a bit of a wait now as I'm blitzed with stuff to do (what a problem right?). I'm one of those weirdos who will cram even more into his schedule if it sounds cool though...and the aforementioned "cool" thing is accompanied by cold hard cash (or digital currency as the case may be).

Slipping some cool comics into my schedule between pictures. If you haven't checked out Saga by Brian K Vaughan and Fiona Staples (awesome female artist and Canadian to boot? *swoon*) rectify the situation immediately and purchase their wares! The Wake by Scott Snyder and Sean Murphy just released it's first issue also, really cool stuff by another great creative team. So many good books out these days it's hard to mention them all, but I'll give it a shot for some of the others I'm reading:
Invincible continues to be a favourite (Kirkman and Ottley...mmmmm).
Image is pumping out a ton of good stuff in fact, check out Mara, The Private Eye, East of West and Revival at the very least.
A huge surprise is how much I'm loving Valiant's line up as I never followed them before this relaunch. I think there is ...one book of theirs I'm not following? And it's just because I haven't picked up the first trade yet to see what I'm missing (Shadowman). Read Harbinger, Bloodshot, X-O Manowar and Archer and Armstrong. Toss up between A&A and Harbinger for my favs, but they're all crazy good.
DC has some good books, but I'm more saddened by what they've canceled. Demon Knights being the big one. The main Batman book (with Snyder/Capullo at the helm) continually impresses, and Wonder Woman has been amazing. Of the trinity, Superman's books are the ones I haven't been a fan of. With Snyder and Jim freakin LEE on a new Superman book coming up...that need should be filled though.
The Flash has been consistently good from the beginning also, and I'm a huge fan of Francis Manapul's art.
Marvel has plenty of good with the meh. Hawkeye, Avengers (especially with Jerome Opena on art *drools*), Captain Marvel, All-new X-men and Thor have been pretty darn good. Not crazy about the latest event Age of Ultron as I'm doubting there will be any lasting effects, but who knows.

In any case, that is where I shall leave this particular journal post. Feel free to comment on...well whatever. New books you're excited about you think I may have missed? Artists to be on the look out for? Tell me I suck, or I'm awesome, or a little of both in equal measure. Till next time *tips hat*
